Us Too, Dr. King

He wanted people to be judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. He wanted protest to be fought with meaning and not violence. He wanted life to be cherished and more than that he wanted our better angels to prevail.

I learned that love is more than my ability to give love, but it has a lot to do with my capacity to show love. Love, I learned, is just as tangible as anything we can hold in our hands.

The Crux of Mr. Kaepernick

No one is asking the question or seeking to understand Mr. Kaepernick, they are too busy crucifying him like the good little Americans that we are. The most sickening thing in all of this is the fact that a majority of the people who are bashing him for disrespecting the national anthem and our country are the very people who've been disrespecting the current president.
